National Portrait Gallery exhibit is the inspiration of Dana’s new work
National Portrait Gallery’s historian and curator David Ward gave DTSBDC board members and their guests an amazingly detailed tour of the fascinating exhibit of photographs taken during the civil war and the western expansion of the Union Pacific Railroad. This exhibit “Dark Fields of the Republic: Alexander Gardner Photographs, 1859-1872,” is the inspiration for Dana’s new work “The Foster Suite: the Remains of Loss and Longing” which will premiere at the museum February 28, 2016. Performances are at 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Admission is Free.
