With roots in Washington, DC’s arts scene, DTSBDC has been hailed by The Washington Post as “not only a Washington prize but a national dance treasure.” In 2023, 2024, and 2025, the company was voted “Best Dance Company of DC” by Washington City Paper readers.

This gala supports the launch of our 33rd anniversary season and sustains the company’s ongoing performances, educational programming, and community engagement efforts.
