The Mallorca Suite at The Kreeger Museum, Washington DC

Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company continues its residency at The Kreeger Museum with a performance of The Mallorca Suite, a 30-minute modern dance work for 10 dancers inspired by the Museum’s collection of Joan Miró (1893-1983) paintings. Miró’s acclaimed “Mallorca Series,” will come to life with the Company’s interpretation and the musical compositions of Federico Mompou (1893-1987) which will be played live by acclaimed pianist Dana Nichole Scott.
Doors will open for this performance at 2:00pm. The performance will begin at 3:00pm and will be followed by a glass of wine on the Terrace.
